I drink endless cups of tea which tastes best if made by my husband. I live in a small jungle of about 100 house plants, one fiesty tabby cat and a potato frenchie called Bowie. I am a true creative; I am happiest when creating - painting, sewing, making hummus - anything! With a chai latte in hand, you can find me walking on the prom, soaking up sunshine and watching the sunset. I love capturing people's happiest moments
My approach to your session
Let's pretend it's a movie and you're the main characters - my approach is relaxed, fun and fluid with motion while I guide you with prompts that will have you smiling and laughing and having the best time. Or you might be laughing at me while I climb in the bush, up the tree or standing on your furniture to get all the angles.
My style is documentary, filled with natural light and real connection and emotion, images that you can feel. My edit is soft and romantic lightly inspired by an old film camera. I capture you at your happiest moments.
I provide wardrobe guides and assist you in choosing a timeless look so that your images can be loved and enjoyed for years to come.
I genuinely want you to have a great time splashing in the waves, running through the park, picking flowers and have belly ache laughs. The shoot is an experience in itself.

How do we book a shoot?
Enquire through the contact form, pop me an email directly or DM me on Instagram. Let me know what you have in mind for your shoot, the package and lets find a suitable date.
What are the payment terms?
A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your date and time slot. The remaining balance is due 3 working days prior. Wedding package balances are due a month prior.
How do you calculate travel?
I am Cape Town based and love travelling to different locations. Travel is calculated as a return trip at R6.50 per km. I will calculate the exact travel amount after you have enquired with me.
What if it rains?
We can move your shoot to an indoor location (at home, cafe, etc) or we will reschedule to another date.
How should we dress for our family session?
I will send you a wardrobe guide to assist you in outfit choices and colours.
How far in advance do we need to book?
There is not set time it all depends on my availablity so pop me a message, you never know unless you ask.
Can I buy a gift voucher?
Yes absolutely! The voucher has to be paid in full upfront and can be redeemed up to a year. I will provide you with a digital voucher which you can print out.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
A new born shoot is considered to be within the first two weeks but there is no wrong or right time to capture this beautiful time.
What if my family shoot exceeds 10 people?
You will have to book the Sweet Like Cinnamon Extended Package and I will charge you extra per person and extend the time of the session accordingly
I'm a private person and don't want my photo's used for advertising
I ask permission from every client before using their images for social media, etc so nothing gets posted without consent. If you don't want your photo's used that's not a problem at all.
Can I get a refund?
The deposit is non-refundable. The balance will only be refunded if the shoot is cancelled 2 weeks in advance of your date. I am happy to re-schedule to a future date up to 6 months from the original date. Beyond 6 months, the shoot will be considered as expired.
Can I book a session in studio?
No, I only shoot in natural settings outdoors or in your home or a venue. Studio shoots are not my style.
